Napa Valley - Overture

Opus One, following Bordeaux tradition, produces a second wine known as Overture. This wine has been crafted since 1993, employing a highly selective process for Opus One itself. The estate's vineyards are meticulously tended to, with each section receiving special attention to detail. Not all wine batches from the property make it into the final Opus One blend. The remaining lots, after further aging in French oak barrels and the flexibility brought by multiple harvests, result in Overture. This wine is marked by its exceptional elegance, complexity, and delicacy, reflecting the essence of the winery through each unique harvest. Overture's grape composition varies with each vintage but typically includes Bordeaux varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec, making it distinct from Opus One.
