Deep ruby colour with somewhat closed aromas characterised by a chalky and leafy quality. Initially, there are dark black-fruit scents that transition into meaty and long-lasting notes on the mid-palate.
The tannins start off a bit sharp but eventually develop into a smooth and velvety texture.
There's a slight warmth from the alcohol on the finish, which exposes the tannins a bit more and leaves a mildly warm sensation.
